Reading Workshop Information Meeting
Reminder: TONIGHT, BCE is offering a parent education night on the Reading Workshop model from 6 pm -7 pm in the school library. Trainer, Libby James and teacher, Lisa Muirhead will provide families with an overview of the workshop model, as well as identify what teachers are asking students to do in their classroom reading. They will explain the importance of “just right” books in helping a child to grow as a reader. Additionally, they will provide you with strategies on how to support your reader at home and how to plan for and support summer reading.
