BCE Open House!
Today, May 26, is the BCE Open House where students and staff invite you to come share in your child's accomplishments. There will be Art Masterpiece displays in the MP room from 5 pm until 7:30 pm, and classrooms will be open from 6:30 pm until 7:30 pm. Parking will be available on the lower playground and in St. Michael's Church parking lot.Plan to have dinner at BCE before Open House! We'll be serving food 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm. Get there early - we stop serving food at 6:00 pm so our parent volunteers can wrap up and get to their classroom visits. The cost is $6.00, which includes hot dog, hamburger or veggie burger, chips, watermelon and a drink. Dessert available for an additional cost.
The Open House BBQ is the biggest fundraiser of the year for BCE Breakfast Club, which provides breakfast items to kids every morning at no cost.
Please take the time (5 minutes or so) to complete this year’s BCE Family Survey. We use family feedback to help evaluate the effectiveness of what we do and how we do it. After completing the survey, please write your name and phone number along with the secret code on a piece of paper and return (to the office) to be entered in a drawing for 2 passes to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Thank you in advance for your support and feedback. Hard copies are available to fill out in the office or look for Margaret Zavaroni during Open House if you are not able to complete the survey electronically.
