December Planning
December is upon us and although it is short in school days, it is long in activities. Here is a list of the major school activities for the next two weeks (plus a little more):
Tuesday, December 7 - Meeting for families of students in the TITLE 1 program in room 16 (old 2-story) at 6 pm. Come and learn strategies to support your student in his/her learning.Thursday, December 9 - Family Dinner Night at Round Table Pizza. Proceeds will benefit Boulder Creek Homeschool and Mrs. Eiriksson's class.Friday, December 10 - Gift Shift, 12 pm - 6 pm in the MP room. A chance to pick up gently used toys for your children. Friday, December 10 - Deadline for applications for the BCE science fair. Students do not have to have their projects decided upon. They just need to turn in their applications. Questions? Call Lin Wapner at 338-1707.Saturday, December 11 - Get a picture with Santa from 11 am - 4 pm at SLVHS Multi-Purpose room. Cost is $5 and proceeds will help support the SLVHS Prom.Sunday, December 12 - Brunch at St. Michaels Parish Hall from 9 am - 12 pm. All welcome - donation at door. Proceeds will benefit BCE Breakfast Club.Tuesday, December 14 - Kindergarten Winter Sing at 8:45 am - Kindergarten families onlyWednesday, December 15 - First Grade Holiday Sing and Performance, 10:45 am and 7 pmThursday, December 16 - Parent Club at 6:30 pm in the library. Free babysitting is providedFriday, December 17 - Last Day of School before Winter BreakMonday, January 3 - First Day back after Winter Break
Wednesday, December 8 and 15 are both EARLY OUT DAYS. Students in grades 1-5 will be dismissed at 1:15 pm.
