Dear BCE Families,
We’re winding down our conference schedule and Book Fair. Remember that we go back to our regular school schedule starting on Wed., November 18. Our last day of school before the Thanksgiving break is Tuesday, November 24th.
I would like to send out a special Thank You to some BCE Family members that have coordinated one of our many fundraisers this fall. They are as follows:

Thank you to all of the volunteers who supported the coordinators and all of you who supported our school financially by participating in the fundraisers. Every little bit helps. At the meeting last Thursday, $2K was donated for classroom supplies. We can’t do it without your support.
DELIVERY OF GREAT AMERICAN ITEMS: GREAT AMERICAN ITEMS WILL BE DELIVERED TO BCE ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 18TH. ITEMS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PICK-UP IN THE MP ROOM AFTER SCHOOL. SINCE MANY ORDERS INCLUDE COOKIE DOUGH, WE ARE ENCOURAGING EVERYONE TO PICK UP THEIR ORDERS ON THIS DAY.
WALK-JOG MONEY: Walk-Jog money is due to BCE by Friday, November 20th. Please make checks payable to BCE Parents Club. Congratulations to Ben Tarr for his winning t-shirt design!
CANNED FOOD DRIVE: We are collecting non-perishable food items through December 18th to help fill the empty shelves of Valley Churches United Missions, located in Ben Lomond. Please donate what you can.
PICTURE DAY: November 24. Due to the power outage on picture day in October, classroom pictures will be retaken. If you sent money in October, teachers should still have it. This is the final fall picture – there will be no retakes, but there will be spring pictures.
LOST AND FOUND: Our lost and found pile is increasing in size. Please check the table in front of the office to claim your child’s missing clothing. I would like to remind you to put your child’s name on his/her jacket so that an item of clothing can be returned to the classroom easily.
